Create an endangered animal from your hometown using reclaimed plastics and packaging.
3D FORM / PHYSICAL PROTOTYPING
Do not manipulate the plastic with heat.
Incorporate an interaction with the animal (My interaction was the dipping of the head and flapping of the wings).

SKETCHING
For my research of the roseate tern, I watched multiple videos and images to get a better understanding of the animal's behaviors and environment. I recorded my observations through sketching.
ITERATION + EXPLORATION
I created three iterations of Barry before my final. The biggest challenge was capturing the proportions accurately, while also making sure Barry didn't look like a torpedo (too straight, stiff, without curvature).
